Start with the booking moment
A charter customer may copy a number from a confirmation message. A hotel guest may read it from a small card. A recurring appointment customer may save it after the first call.
Use that situation to guide the comparison. A visually striking pattern is not automatically better for someone who usually taps a mobile link.
Read and repeat the full number
Compare three actual listings at their current prices. Read all ten digits and ask another person to write them down. An attractive ending does not remove the need to understand the prefix.
For a word-based number, check whether the match is complete and relevant. Show the numeric equivalent so customers using different languages or keypad conventions can still call.
Add the information the number cannot convey
State the business name, operating area, and answering hours in Eastern time. For tours or transfers, give pickup details in the confirmation rather than assuming the area code makes the location obvious.
Keep the contact consistent on your website, signs, directory listings, and messages. Update those materials after the receiving service has been tested.
